Berwick Primary School had the pleasure of having Kids Car Ed visit us in term one this year. Our Grade twos were doing a unit of work on Road Safety. We found the Kids Car Ed incursion to be an excellent learning activity for all of our children.
The children really enjoyed the lesson and were disappointed when it ended. Many of the older children in our school were pleading to their teachers to be involved also!
Cameron has a terrific set up and I only wish that more children in Australia could experience what we did. I highly recommend his program to all primary school children.

Thank you for providing the opportunity for our children to experience life on the road as a driver. The consensus of opinion was that it was "really fun learning!"
The cars generated great interest and were a perfect size for the children in which to feel comfortable and in control....
The balance of practical and theory based sessions was great and the children certainly enjoyed receiving a certificate for their efforts. I have included below, a selection of direct quotes from some of the children who participated. Thank you again Cameron and best of luck with your program.
Leanne and Robyn.
"It was a lot of fun driving the car. You have to use your right foot to press the accelerator." - Sage.
"I really liked going fast. I couldn't see the gauge and didn't know how fast I was going until Sophie looked and told me I was way over the limit!" - Riley.
"I was the lollypop lady for a while and then we swapped over and I got to drive. I went as fast as I could." - Ebony.
"I liked driving the car. You could skid around corners, but it was still safe. The lady taught us things too. Like how to be a sensible pedestrian."
"It was fun. I learnt you have to use the accelerator and brake with the same foot." - Bailey.
"You must use the correct foot when driving a car. The lady reminded us how important it was not to fight with your brothers and sisters when you are in the car because the driver needs to concentrate." - Sharleen.
"It was a really great activity. It tests your skills and motivation to learn about cars and safety on the road." - Lewis.
"We learnt what to do in and out of a car. We listened to a lady and then she tested us to see how well we listened. We went in the car as the driver and a passenger. It was really fun. My picture was in the paper. Now I am famous!" - Ellie.

Thanks for bringing your very informative and enjoyable Road Safety program to our Vacation care Program. The children and staff all talked after you left about the things you had spoken about, no mobile phones when driving, reminding mum or dad they are speeding. This made them feel more responsible when being a passenger in the car.
Being able to drive the amazing cars really showed the children that it takes heaps of concentration and coordination to be a safe driver on the road.
This whole package you brought to us was a huge hit and we would love you to come visit us again.
